🚨 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨 Dear Members, After months of preparation and many positive communications with our CEX Gate.io, we only discovered via their official announcement that they have decided not to support Metagamz project migration and will delist the $METAG token without listing $EIV token in its place. That was very specifically not what was agreed with them. We received no formal communication from them either with regards to their decision or for the reasons behind it and we know you will all agree that a decision of this magnitude should have been communicated to us in advance rather than us hearing it by way of an official announcement. Until today, there was an agreement to move the migration of the project forwards by suspending trading of the METAG token, swapping the token for EIV and then resuming trading with the EIV token. As everyone can imagine, since the announcement, our team has been trying hard to elicit transparent responses from the Gate team regarding the reasons for such a one-sided decision that has been taken and published without consulting us! As of now, although we tried several times, we regret to say that they have not provided ANY reasons for their decision and have simply REFUSED to explain themselves in a meeting with our team! Due to the nature of the last-minute announcement by Gate.io, our team is currently actively organizing everything behind the scenes to ensure that the necessary processes required for the smooth migration AND product launch can still take place whilst also taking all necessary steps to protect every one of our investors. We are currently discussing the best way to minimise reliance on third-parties to reduce any such counter-party risks and take the appropriate action to ensure a smooth migration and efficient product launch. As our goal has always been to develop a company with a solid foundation and a strong product with a great future, it is clear to us now that we need to focus on how best to become independent from other actors within the crypto industry who could, for any reason, take decisions that would negatively impact the project. As a result of this unexpected situation our team is currently taking the appropriate action to alleviate the disruption caused and will inform the community within a matter of days regarding: - The official date for the snapshot that will be taken prior to token migration. - The token migration process that will be available for ALL holders to swap $METAG to $EIV through our dApp portal. - The DEX Platform(s) on which trading of the $EIV token will be activated within the shortest time-frame possible. Finally, we would like to remind you to withdraw your tokens from Gate.io and hold them in your MetaMask wallet ready for the snapshot to be taken. They have given notice that this should be done within one month but our advice is to withdraw as soon as possible. You will need a Metamask wallet to be able to interact with the dApp portal and swap your METAG tokens to EIV.
